In
the Capo Falcone territory you can
find only one museum in the village of Stintino: we are talking
about the museum of "Tonnara", but not very far from
here, on the road towards Alghero there is the Sella e Mosca museum
while at Sassari there is the Archaologic and Ethnographic Museum
G. A. Sanna.
- Museum of Tonnara
(tunny fishing nets): it is located in the port of Stintino
called 'Porto Mannu' inside a modula building, likely made in
order to be able to be moved to other places. It consists of
a collection of documents, photos and other original objects
and moulds in successive rooms, from Great Room to Death Room
- closing the museum - that ideally riproduces the tuna's cycle
of life and explains how life is in a tunny fishing nets with
historical information about the tunny fishing nets of Asinara
Gulf and particularly on the Saline's one.

- Archaeologic and Ethnographic Museum
G. A. Sanna: in
the museum are kept:
- A collection of archaeologic
material from
prehistoric age until the Roman period. It is for sure the
most interesting and rich part of the museum. The oldest
finds date about 500.000 years ago. Also the collection
of finds of the nuragic period is quite rich; among the
finds of this period you can admire various tools, ceramics
and some small bronze scultures among wich an old statue
representing an ox found on the island of Asinara that demonstrates
that Asinara too was inhabitated during the nuragic period.
Among other things you can find a rebuilding of the "Hut
of meetings" of the nuragic village of Palmavera near
Alghero.
- An Art
Gallery with about fifty
paintings of different periods starting from 1300.
- A collection of
ethnographic material
where unfortunately visitors are not allowed.

- Sella and Mosca Museum:
the museum is located inside the wine estate Sella
and Mosca in the locality Piani di Sotgiu near Alghero.
It has an archaeologic section dedicated completely to the necropolis
of Anghelu Ruju, the most important and large prehistoric necropolis
of Sardinia while the most important section is obviously dedicated
to the history of the Wine Company since 1899; there are for
example very old presses and grinders.
