The
promontory of Capo Falcone and neighbouring
areas are rich of archaeologic remains and monuments as well as
every other part of Sardinia; they are the testimony of the history
of this country. Among the most significant things you must see
there are Roman remains and the necropolis of Porto Torres, some
Nuraghes located in the internal area of the promontory, S.Gavino
Basilica at Porto Torres, several coast Towers both on the peninsula
and on the Asinara Island. The most interesting museums are at Sassari,
while at Stintino you can find the Tonnara museum.
